What PDF Döndürme does

PDF Döndürme turns pages that are sideways or upside down, which often happens with scanned documents, photographed pages and landscape tables inside a portrait report. You can rotate every page or only the pages you list.

pdf-lib changes the rotation setting stored for each selected page. The page content itself is not redrawn, so text, images and quality stay exactly the same and the file size barely changes. The angle is added to any rotation the page already has, and the result is named with -rotated.

When to use PDF Döndürme

• Fix scanned pages that came out upside down because they were placed in the scanner the wrong way.
• Turn a landscape spreadsheet or chart page in a report so it can be read without tilting the screen.
• Correct sideways phone photos of documents after turning them into a PDF with Image to PDF.
• Rotate selected pages of a building plan or a set of drawings before sending the file to a print shop.

Settings explained

Rotation

90° ↻, the default, turns pages a quarter turn clockwise, 90° ↺ a quarter turn counterclockwise, and 180° turns them upside down. The angle is added to the current rotation of each page.

Pages (empty = all)

Leave it empty to rotate every page, or list pages and ranges separated by commas, such as 2, 5-7, 10-. 10- runs to the last page and -4 means pages 1 to 4. Unlisted pages are not changed.

PDF is hard to edit, because text is stored as positioned pieces, not as flowing paragraphs. Converting a PDF to Word may change the layout. Scanned PDFs contain pictures of text, not real text, unless OCR has been applied.

All major web browsers open PDF files directly. Windows, macOS, iOS and most Android phones include a PDF viewer, and Adobe Acrobat Reader and many free apps can view, annotate and fill PDF forms on all platforms.

Tips for the best result

• To turn different pages in different directions, run the tool again on the result with another page list, or use Organize PDF, where every page has its own rotate button.
• Use the page numbers your PDF viewer shows, not the numbers printed on the pages. The tool counts the first page of the file as page 1, including the cover.
• Rotation does not change how text is stored, so text stays selectable and searchable after rotating, and links and form fields keep working.
• When you add several PDFs, the same rotation and page list are applied to each file. Use Download all (ZIP) to save all rotated files at once.

How PDF Döndürme works in your browser

The PDF is opened with pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library that runs in your browser. Pages are copied, rotated, resized or cropped at the PDF object level, so text stays text and vector graphics stay sharp.

Because the original page content is copied rather than re-rendered, there is no quality loss. The only exception is an option that explicitly turns pages into images. The new PDF is assembled in memory on your device and offered as a download.

Privacy and security

Most online converters upload your files to a server, process them there and keep a copy for some time. PDF Döndürme works differently: the code is downloaded to your browser once, and your files are read and written only on your device.

You can check this yourself: after the page has loaded, turn off your internet connection and the tool still works. This makes it safe for contracts, IDs, medical records, private photos and unreleased work.
