Type the pages to keep, separated by commas. The default is 1-2. 3, 7-9, 12- takes page 3, pages 7 to 9 and page 12 to the end, and -4 means pages 1 to 4.

• The order you type is the order in the new PDF. For example, 5, 1-3 puts page 5 first, followed by pages 1, 2 and 3.
• A page listed twice is included only once. To repeat a page, extract it separately and combine the files with Merge PDF.
• To get several separate files from one PDF in a single step, use Split PDF with Custom ranges instead.
• Use an open range to copy everything from a page to the end: 7- takes page 7 and every page after it.

The PDF is opened with pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library that runs in your browser. Pages are copied, rotated, resized or cropped at the PDF object level, so text stays text and vector graphics stay sharp.

Because the original page content is copied rather than re-rendered, there is no quality loss. The only exception is an option that explicitly turns pages into images. The new PDF is assembled in memory on your device and offered as a download.

Privacy and security
